My involvement on
this project included content organization, research, editing, copyright
administration, graphic design and website design and development. I am
grateful to have worked on this project and with so many outstanding people.
Our everyday life affects the environment and the environment affects
our daily lives. More websites of this kind are crucial to environmental
and science education. I have worked in the Philosophy Department and
the History and Philosophy of Science Departments at the University of
Pittsburgh. At Pitt, I took many writing classes, pursued a Women’s
Studies Certificate and was awarded first prize for an essay contest sponsored
by the Pennsylvania Speech and Communication Associations. I have a Bachelor
of Arts in Theater and Communication at Seton Hill College. The most important
thing I have done in the past 16 years is taught my son the science and
ethics of the environment and thereby instilling in him a respect and
curiosity for his environment.
