    Dear Symposium organizers and participants:

I had the opportunity to watch Ms. Casserty from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation wonderful introduction to open education resources. I found her ideas very clear and thorough on the OER movement and the importance and relevance it is taking in the new knowledge and information society. I share her concerns on the quality of the OER materials and the changes current education need to undergo in terms of engaging learners and really moving them to learn, explore, create and apply more. We certainly need to start to reinvent education, specially start thinking of ways to promote learning and freeing students to learn. ¡Congratulations! Mónica from Guatemala, Central America
